What to look out for at Myrtle Beach in 2018

Stretching over almost 60 miles along the coast of South Carolina and housing more than 1400 restaurants and 425 hotels, it doesn’t seem like anything else could be coming to this place. However, if that’s what you’re thinking, you’re wrong! There are a host of different attractions that are coming to Myrtle Beach this year including restaurants, events, hotels and much more. We’ve gathered a few of these for you:
1. Dockside Village
One of the most famous tourist attractions at Myrtle Beach, the Barefoot Landing is undergoing a massive renovation with plans to develop a walk-able restaurant district that’ll be known as the Dockside Village and will feature numerous restaurants for vacationers to choose from.
2. Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Extension and Development Complex
A new 3-storey beach club is set to see the light of the day. Situated along Ocean Boulevard the new attraction that’ll feature live music and a number of dining options has been given an opening date of April 2018. It is something we’re all looking forward to.
3. Blue Angels Air show
The US Navy’s flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angel’s will be performing at the Myrtle Beach International Airport for the first time in more than 10 years. The event will take place on April 28th and 29th and is something you wouldn’t want to miss at all.
4. 810 Bowling
After the 710 Bowling Arena in North Carolina, the next iteration, 810 Bowling is opening at the Piggly Wiggly store in The Market Common. Featuring a 22 lane bowling alley and other games like billiards, table tennis, shuffle board and a host of board games for the nerdy vacationers. Besides the games, the place will also feature a number of food outlets to satisfy the cravings of your stomach.
