Great Choice
We were planning on visiting Myrtle Beach and looked at many places to stay and we decided on Royal Palms 2307. It was a great choice. Close to the Ocean, Great View from the balcony and close to anything you want to do (Shows, Golfing, Shopping). We would certainly look at staying here again when we visit Myrtle Beach.

We have never rented a condo before and found it to suit our needs perfectly. Having 3 teenagers we are always cramped in the average hotel room. Everybody had breathing room and there was no fighting about the bathroom and TV with this unit. It had everything we needed for a week long stay, had a central location and a very nice pool area. Our corner unit gave us a great view! I spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view and the sounds of the ocean.

The unit itself is wonderful, with a majestic view over the surrounding water, beach, and property. The Hilton next door is a number of stories lower, so it doesn't limit your view of the horizon( it does get in the way of a full beach view though)
We have stayed at the Royal Palms for tyhe past 2 years and love the property. This unit gives you everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation, but lacks the special touches to make you feel as though you are being treated to a resort. Examples:
1) The cleaning crew being used barely does more than vacuum and make the beds. Upon arriving, we couldn;t see out the windows due to the thick film on the OUTSIDE of them. I cleaned them myself ( 5 minutes). The showers were clean, but obviously needed scrubbed to clean the grout( it had that orangly type of mold/shampoo stain on it and looked dirty even though it wasn')
2)Many of the units in Royal plams were furnished by the Hilton(our rental last year was). The Hilton used their signature mattresses and pillows to create a LUXURY sleeping expereince as in a fine hotel. This unit has standard mattresses and CHEAP sheets/pillows. The comforters were the wrong sizes( a Queen conforter on a King bed in the master)and scratchy. In going on with the LUXURY theme, a nice touch would be to actually have a dust ruffle under the mattress to cover the box spring. As it is, it looks CHEAP. The wrong size conforter and an exposed mattress/box spring set.
Outside of those two nit-picky items that can be fixed in an hour or two by the owners our vacation was wonderful. But -it COULD have been LUXURIOUS---Hey, You're not there to be in the room anyway!

Beautiful condo with everything you would want. The only disappointment was the fact that you don't have a wireless connection. There is broadband. Another issue was that although the hotel has an indoor exercise area as a renter of an individual owner you don't have access to these areas. On the positive side the condo was amazingly wonderful - beautiful views from the 23rd floor.

This unit was very nice and comfortable. However there were a few issues at check in. My daughter was arriving from a different location and meeting us at the unit. When she arrived, the unit was not ready for new arrivals at the scheduled time, i.e. dirty towels in the bath tubs, unmade beds, etc. Palmetto Vacations did take ation very quickly in order to rectify the situation and ensured housekeeping would arrive shortly. Additionally, Palmetto offered a discount coupon for our next stay.
The condo was very nice and had a great view. My only other issue was that the pool area hot tubs were not heated or well maitained. Perhaps this was because it was March....I don't know, but that is exactly why my children wanted to use the hot tubs in March...it was chilly that time of the year in Myrtle Beach.
