Slowly opening and closing its jaws, a moray has "a second set of jaws" that juts out from its throat to yank the prey down the eel's gullet. The moray is one of the many on display in the world's deadliest animals exhibit at Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach on March 3, 2010.
Arm yourself for the new exhibit, "Lethal Weapons," on display at Ripley's Aquarium, off 29th Avenue North at Broadway at the Beach, through 2010.
"Jaws" is so 1975. "Lethal Weapons" is a real take on dozens of some of the most lethal marine animals under the water, versus the sea's peaceful population and their struggle to survive. The exhibit includes hands-on interactive portions, videos and live animals.
